We had heard about this and it had been recommended. The fountain runs for about 15 minutes starting on the hour. There is a nice park with a path around the lake. Also a playground.

Awesome time! Very pretty and relaxing with great views. Came a few times before we saw the fountain in action, but we learned that it runs at the top of each hour for 15 minutes. But if the wind speed is above 10 mph, the fountain will automatically shut off or won't run. Worth the wait. We got a bonus because the fountain ran for 30 minutes. 😉😎
Great park with plenty to do. There's a kids splash pad far those hot days, two separate playground areas and a few restaurants to choose from along with a coffee shop, ice cream shop and a wine bar. A walking trail takes you all around the park and a frisbee golf course is integrated into the park. The Avenue of the Fountains is right across the street which offers more places to eat and shop.
We love bringing visitors to the park. It's a nice place to have a picnic 9 months out of the year. Disc golf has really taken off and it's fun to watch, and even more fun to play. Come on out and get some fresh air and exercise!!
From the website: "Fountain Hours of Operation The fountain operates 7 days a week, on the hour for 15 minutes from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. On windy days, the fountain may not be operating. If the wind reaches 10 miles per hour, the fountain automatically turns itself off." It ran for 2 minutes.
Make sure to atleast spend an hour in the park to watch the beautiful fountain. Fun little frisbee golf course around the fountain.
