  • The museum is first class. Well preserved and organized exhibits. Well worth even a long drive. If you love Civil War history, plan to spend several hours here. Bring some money for the wonderful gift shop, too. We brought our 6 children there on three occasions and have learned so much.
  • I didn't expect to see the wonderful things that are displayed. There is just so much. I spent 2 1/2 hrs there and still didn't see it all. I loved the informative movie at the beginning. I will go back. Patti Ehrheart
  • It's a wonderful place to go see all the old civil war
  • Really neat place to learn about our Civil War
  • Been to the Springfield, Paris and Brussels war museums. The Texas Civil War Museum is an Excellent, First Class historic museum. Texas history comes alive through video, static and dynorama displays. Great inventory of both south and north artifacts. Details like, Did you know a French artillery battery fought in the civil war?
