  • Went here with my family and was fun to walk around and see all the history! The school house was super cute and we loved ringing the bell:) The staff were all dressed up in the historical attire and ...  more »

  • My grandma and I went here and it was just wonderful. Some of the nicest people work here and it was a joy to hear all about the History that these Log Cabin Homes from North and Central Texas have to show for themselves. The surrounding area is beautiful too, as the Colonial Country Club and several eating places are nearby. Enjoy!
  • Getting to see everything in action was incredible and unexpected! My daughter got to dip a candle, we got to see and speak to the blacksmith and the woodworker, it was a neat little place! Good shade, easy parking, wonderful people, excellent prices!
  • I was visiting the area for a conference. Found Log cabin village in places to see magazine in my hotel. I spent 4 hours there. The staff was very friendly and love sharing their knowledge. If you like the feel of history. This is a self guided tour. Staff in time period clothing in the cabins answering any questions. What I really enjoyed was the stories that accompanied each cabin. Love this place.
  • Love the history! Well maintained cabins and grounds; friendly, informative staff and volunteers. One of the cabins is hands-on, so the kids can pick up anything and everything they're curious about. Great price for admission and free parking.
  • Knowing that FORT WORTH is where the West begins, this place should be better known. It seems the zoo over shadows it.
