  • Pleasantly surprised by the collection of log houses. Learned a lot about life in Texas in the mid 1800's. Staff were courteous and very knowledgeable.

  • Restored homesteader houses and friendly knowledgeable docents. Gardens, forge, schoolhouse, period furnishings and tales of life on the prairie.

  • This is a great place to learn a bit about pioneer history and see what things were actually like. The cabins are fantastically presented and the staff is amazing. They were all knowledgeable and very friendly. The demonstrations are a great thing to really imagine how things were done. I would recommend this to anyone in the area who is interested in history and willing to walk a bit outside.
  • Take the kids. It is a great place to learn about local history with your own eye and a little hands on.
  • I love this place! Very educational for every age! Don't miss it!
  • Kids loved it. Very friendly people. Educational AND fun!
  • Log Cabin Village has been around for over 50 years but not very well-known. Unfortunate, because this is a great place to visit along with the zoo across the street. Enjoy a picnic in the park that surrounds the village. If you have kids, this is a must.
