Now, I have to admit I'm from a long way out of town - England in fact - so I might not be qualified to judge the quality of the Rodeo. Texan friends tell me that better can be found out in the country. But as a tourist, this is hard to beat for a slice of Texas. Our favourites are the barrel racing and steer tying - bull riding is exciting, but it's over so quickly! Oh, and there's a great atmosphere too.
What a cool place! The building itself is very impressive. And the rodeo was great entertainment. We enjoyed the bronc riders - although it was really exciting when one of the riders was thrown over the railing, out of the arena, but thankfully he was unhurt - and the barrel racing was really fun to watch. I'd go back!
The show is absolutely fantastic and includes, wrangling, bull riding, and races. The atmosphere is really good and the crowd really gets into it when someone lasts the entire 8 seconds. The mini shows in between are really entertaining and I had a blast experiencing it all.
Family tradition from whe I was a young kid and now the tradition continues. The history is just amazing. Check out the cowboy hall of fame if you have a chance.
The 2 hour cowtown coliseum Rodeo show entertains you with cowboy games. The cowboy games gives a weekend evening fun.
