  • No larger than a large farm pond. Wouldn't go back. Swing into lake "at own risk" was dangerous appearing. I wondered how many have been hurt. Too many people. Creepy guy hanging around watching kids ...  more »
  • Burger's Lake is a great, great place to take the family. They have outdoor grills and tables and sell drinks and snacks. There are all kinds of water 'toys' like swings and slides, etc. This is in a ...  more »
  • This was our go to place, for cheap entertainment. Several friends would pick up food, chairs and blankets, head to Burgers Lake, relax plus eat. Could park up close, able to watch the fun at the lake...  more »

  • If you want a great place to bring family to swim this is better than any I have been too! Sandy spring feed extra large pool with just about everything. Lots of employee's watching out for the safety of the families. BBQ Grills at the ready, Lots of diving boards at various heights, Trapeze, slides for young children and older children/Adults. pool side recliners, picnic tables with plenty more away from pool under lots of trees.
  • Nice lake with picnic tables and plenty of individual sites for spending the day with family and friends. The water was very nice and there are some good, cold spots in the lake presumably from natural springs I am guessing? Having a high dive board to me was one of the great pluses.
  • Yes this spring fed lake is just the place for family fun from high dives to fast slides and and a trapze it's also got plenty for little kids and great food
  • I'm so glad we found this place over the summer. It's such a cool lake to go to for the day. Our kids loved it. There are slides, diving boards, trapeze, splash pad, and so much more. There are also grills on site for cooking, as well as a concession stand to buy some snacks. We can't wait to go back for more.
  • The internet is such a great place to find reviews of places you might want to visit. If you are visiting the Dallas/Forth Worth area with children this certainly is one of the places you may want to visit to cool off on a hot summer day. There is so many different water activities for the kids to do. . .such as water slides, diving boards, swinging hand bar, etc. It's a very safe place to bring kids as there are twelve lifeguards on duty during the week and on weekends their are normal fourteen or fifteen. In addition there is someone operating the PA system making announcements and they have visible access to telephone should an emergency condition occur. There maybe some concerns about admission being $15 per person. . .but consider this is a private place and not public, it has more lifeguards on duty than any public park. It has a full-time staff member watching over the bathrooms and showers making certain everything is clean for the fullest enjoyment of the visitors. We tried the hamburger and french fries and they were great and at $6.50 a really good bargain. FYI. . .You can save money by packing your own lunch/supper. Let's look at addition staff members. . .two people working the gate and two or three people in the food stand. This place certainly has more character than most water parks and according to one of the staff members its been the areas most favorite swimming hole since 1929. My wife and I visited without children and we still had a great time.
