  • I've gone here a few times whether with a school field trip as an assistant or with my boyfriend. This place is very cute for young kids and fun to goof around at for young adults. The astronaut ice-c...  more »

  • This place is really outdated and the exhibits are run down and broken. Not very inspiring for young people. Not sure why this is like this but visited yrs ago and they have the same exhibits. It looks like they have invested little money in the place. Lithographs are rubbing off and peeling. Missing pieces. The exhibits are not very current with technology either. Such a disappointment. It is touted as a best place for hands on in Fort Wayne everywhere-- maybe they are putting all their money in advertising instead of the exhibits. Definitely not worth traveling to or the price of admission. Basically just an indoor place to kill time.
  • My girls been here one time only and we was traveling to visit a friend in ft Wayne indiana from kentucky and they had a blast here and got to hold a snake, play the piano, loved the slide and the spinning thing there... It was awesome to see my girls having a great time!
  • My 4 kids and I LOVE Science Central! We have learned a great deal about stones and geology through the Swap Shop (which you should definitely explore!) I am thrilled they can earn points through puzzles, quizzes and games, all while learning rock classifications and the like! My kids have learned to identify stones while on walks. If you are looking for a hand on learning experience for your child, Science Central is the place to be!
  • For Ft. Wayne, it is just ok. Definitely in need of updating and repair. A lot of things were not working or were missing parts. We went on a free Smithsonian-sponsored day, so I didn't feel like we wasted anything. We had a nice time though - most everything is mostly what you make of it! Probably won't return unless they redo it. "Been there, done that."
  • My kids love it here! This is a great place to get kids excited about science with interesting exhibits and hand-on learning.
