  • This zoo is so amazing. They have such great attractions. The staff is great there and it so amazing how up close you can get with the animals. You can touch the sting rays, feed the giraffes, see the lions and tigers up close, play with goats, etc. Great family deals for yearly membership.
  • My family and I visit this zoo a few times a year. Definitely preferred over the Indianapolis zoo. Fun for all ages. Food court within is next to the sting ray exhibit, but it's a bit pricey and not very good. I suggest packing a cooler. They have a few picnic tables out front and a lot of places to lay down a blanket. The train ride is a hit with the kids, but don't expect to see any animals. It takes you around the pond where you view ducks. The log ride takes you by the kangaroo exhibit and you can wave to those standing on the bridge.
  • Great Kids zoo, especially for younger kids. A little in the small side, but makes it easy to get thru the whole zoo in a day. Nice rides for kids, a little train that is great. If you are from the area, they have a good membership program to help with the cost of going a few times a year, having 5 kids it pays for it self and makes a great day vacation any time of the summer
  • The exhibits here are so well maintained! There is something along every step of your trip to see yet it's not overwhelming. We always come to feed the giraffes but have yet to. It's like they are wild animals and have a mind of there own ;). Hoping to get season passes this year.
  • It's a great regional zoo to visit with your family. Parking is easy and many paths are accessible for wheel chairs. There are some great paths to explore that really take you into the animals' environments. The bats were a particular favorite of my 6 year old boy.
