We homeschool our girls and we were in town on vacation. One morning as it was raining, we decided to have a school day and go here. Well worth the small price and a fun learning experience for all of...  more »

We went to the science of beer hosted by local Grayton Brewery and had a great time. It's nice that they try to host events for adults sometimes.  more »

We came from Oklahoma City where we are lucky to have the most amazing science museum around, so we were admittedly a little snobby about going into this little place..But we were so wrong! We were here for around 4 hours. We got to watch a volunteer tell us about their lizards and animals, we played on every display/experiment, and we crafted in the craft area. Our 5 and 1/2 year old loved it. Great way to spend a cloudy afternoon.

For children, nice place. We went to see a planetarium show and it was not a real planetarium but a blow-up tent-like structure. Good learning experience for first-timers but you'll be disappointed if you are expecting a real planetarium. The young lady that worked the front desk when we were there was very nice and talked about the various birds that they have on location.

Great for younger kids. "Planetarium" show was unique in that it is an inflated sphere holding a dozen people. We visited from out of state and thought it was an actual planetarium, especially for the fee charged to gain entrance. Displays of different basic science concepts will keep younger kids busy. Do not expect an actual planetarium though.
