From the early days of biplanes to the jet era, Air Force Armament Museum houses a huge collection of historical aircraft and weaponry. The museum’s main attractions include the legendary P-51 Mustang, arguably the ultimate piston-powered fighter, and the SR-71 Blackbird, which soared at record-breaking speeds and altitudes. Track the history of machine guns used in air combat and anti-aircraft defense. Admission to the museum is free, but donations are welcome. • Great place located next to Eglin Airforce Base. Very cool exhibits that provide fun and education. Will be back!
  • Being a Marine Corps Aviation Ordnanceman this place was VERY interesting to me. My wife and kids enjoyed it also.
  • I got out of the military 50 years ago but I am still interested. This museum is great it takes you through different conflicts and different armaments. Great education

  • Love seeing all the aircraft. Even have a blackbird. And the 53 holds a close place in my heart.
  • Awesome planes outside and very cool missiles inside/outside; though the indoor museum was a bit small. This museum is not as big as others but still very cool. If you're nearby on vacation, it's only about 15min from Fort Walton beach.
  • Very nice variety of planes. The sr71 set it off. A must see
  • It was a decent little museum with a bunch of interesting military displays. It was free to enter but you can donate at the door. Spent maybe 20 mins at the place and saw everything they had. The people who work/volunteer there seem pretty nice.
  • Free admission. Lots to see. Nice area.
