  • Very disappointed. Of the four buildings that you are supposed to be able to go into, two were closed due to structural damage. The "barracks"/museum was very basic. The guard house was interesting. The grounds were plain.
  • Unfortunately parts were closed due to damage to building which cut out parts of the fort, but it still had a lot of wonderful history. The people are so nice. Great handmade stone jewelery as well.
  • The only thing not to like about this place is that compared to Fort Davis down the road, it's not very big or extensive. Yet, they do a very good job telling the story of this fort. There's more historic stuff nearby that I was not aware of when I first came here. I will return and spend a little more time the next time.
  • Disappointing the city should spend some money to fix this old fort it could be something with some funds.
  • Some neat history here.
