  • We had booked a great single szehendes wooden house in the middle of the Little River Canyon NP over TAS. The House was simple but clean and had Wi-Fi. With our daughters (4 and 6 years), we had booked the exploring of an ancient cave. We were 4 people and 2 very dedicated, funny and competent guides. We have picked up anytime well we felt and were asked repeatedly whether we want to make borderline excursions in the cave. At the very beginning, we are crawling through a long tunnel. It was so tight that we adults could lift the knee and the upper body not to crawling. A small piece we have gone without light everyone had alone forward move. We had to go a bit alone without guides. The children should lead us parents. It was really great experience that we have made. I highly recommend everyone an adventure of this kind.

  • I took a group on their senior trip and we decided to head to the mountains, well sort of. The foothills in Northern Alabama are spectacular. Their beauty is breathe taking. Our group stayed in one of...  read more »
  • I can't say enough good things about True Adventure Sports. 4 of us did a ladies weekend there last weekend and it far exceeded our expectations. First of all, we booked two adventures and our guide, ...  read more »
  • TAS employees were not professional and seemed very apathetic. We had an appointment for 11 am to rent kayaks and did not leave the store until 1:30 pm. They moved incredibly slow and did not seem to care about us as customers. In addition, we had to transport the kayaks to and from the drop off zone using life jackets to secure the kayaks to the top of cars (which were scratched). I will never use this company again.
  • Brought a group of 50 Louisiana high school sophomores to these guys in Alabama for a class trip. They were fantastic! They took us on a night hike, repelling, rock climbing, and then on a waterfall hike. The guides were polite and funny. The food they provided was quite good. All around a very fun time. We will probably be back next year.
  • Our church youth group had a fantastic time with TAS. They are real pro's who love what they do and do it well. I hope I can't wait to take another adventure with them soon - the wild cave tour is a must!
  • Our family of 4, with 7 year old twins, just had the weekend trip of a lifetime. TAS has everything you might want. We did caving, rock climbing, repelling, a night hike with some bouldering and great views, & finished with a zip line excursion (which TAS switched out for canoeing as the river was cold). The guides (Tyler, Jonathan, & Daniel) were great. They made our kids the center of the trip, and were always patient, kind, & encouraging. We always got at least the amount of time TAS had allotted for our adventure & usually got more. We got our money's worth & then some! We also stayed at one of TAS's cabins, which was only 10 minutes from the office, nestled just across the road from a beautiful view of the canyon (2-3 minute walk). It was clean, comfortable, and beautiful inside. If you want to make lasting memories with your family, book a trip today. We will definitely go back (and it's a 6 hour drive from where we live in south MS).
