  • This is a beautiful place for swimming, having a picnic, or relaxing while reading a book or taking photos. I gave it a four due to the trail down to the river which is moderately difficult. I use a c...  more »

  • Idyllic view and awesome water. Got to experience this one pretty much alone. Get there early.
  • Martha's falls is a fun place to go swimming with friends. The parking is free and the trail is relatively short.
  • We wasted 15 minutes trying to find Martha falls in this location. But Martha Falls is 4.3 miles South East from this spot in US-35. Martha's Falls Parking lot (Coordinates : 34.392004, -85.618784) is to the right after you have crossed Little River Canyon bridge and travelled 0.6 miles SE in US-35 (look for the brown sign-board). From parking lot, walk about half a mile on the trail, take a left turn, and climb down to the canyon. The waterfalls is just 3 or 4 feet high and you approach it from top. But there is a HUGE swimming home with awesome diving spots and the entire hole is at least 10 feet deep everywhere. Absolutely wonderful spot. I enjoyed it a lot!!
  • Great stop for pictures and picnic. Has "rustic" restroom facilities. Easy access to the falls.
  • Hiked in last summer, swam and enjoyed a full day
