  • Easy to get to and adequate parking. Admission was very reasonable. Learned a lot about Old Florida. Very interesting.  more »
  • It's a nice little museum, good way to spend 2 hours or so. This is about as much excitement as SWFL provides besides fishing, gators, and golf.  more »
  • My husband and I enjoyed seeing the early years of Florida. The museum does a great job in presenting the information.  more »

  • Well this was an amazing must go place when you visit Fort Myers.. But sadly has closed its doors forever....
  • Unfortunately, as fabulous as the museum and staff were, it has closed its doors forever.
  • Not crowded. You can take your time, relax and enjoy the exhibits. It should be open on Sundays. My only chance to go and can't get in.
  • This is a very thorough museum that is a very valuable asset to Fort Myers. The historians on staff are always willing to help with questions if you have any. Make sure you check out the train car!
  • A must place to visit! It looks small from the outside but the knowledge and displays inside is huge. Well worth the reasonable cost! I would have paid more. Pretty neat that the museum was once the old rail depot. Loved everything from the endangered Mahogany tree outside to the Highwaymen short movie to the Colusa and Seminole history. The staff was amazing as well. A great hidden gem. If you love FL, this is a must see!
