  • We had a great day here! My 7,4, and 2 year old loved all the animals and sea life. The staff were all pleasant and good with the kids. I'm surprised at the reviews saying it was run down. I found the museum well kept and clean. If you're expecting a science museum in a large city you will be disappointed but I thought it was great for a small city. My kids learned a lot about Florida wildlife. They also are a part of the Blue Star Family museum summer program and as a military family we are always grateful for museums who participate in this program.
  • It's a cheap place, not much to look at. Seeing the very limited animals was sort of cool. The place could really use some upgrading. It's good for little kids, not really older ones, a lot of hands on. I suggest using a lot of sanitizer! Some of the kids were really rude, the workers were nice but there wasn't really many of them. I wouldn't go there again even if they paid me. I was really disappointed.
  • Loved it, but too many activities were missing parts and others didn't work. The presentation was OK, but the presenter must make eye contact with her audience. I wish she had been more engaging and as time went over, the group was expected to eat lunch too quickly and this missed the 3D movie. I feel there needs to be some refurbishing as the premises appears tired and staff could appear more professional.
  • I'm so underwhelmed. The staff was friendly but not really trying to engage anyone. 2/3 of the exhibits don't work. Brought our daughter here for her birthday and we spent maybe 30 minutes walking around trying to get exhibits to work. Touch tank was roped off. Really unkempt, smelly and algae everywhere. It would be cool if the exhibits were maintained well. Kinda disappointed to see kids playing video games here when it is supposed to be geared towards interactive learning. Never again.
  • Great place for Young Children and Families. Whatever see you 5 stars but there are some areas under renovation and not accessible. While this is understandable, the be great if they worked on this after operating hours.
