  • Went with a large group that had never played here before. Staff was great. Course was in good shape with several unique holes. All was good. The only downfall was a few of the cart paths went both si...  read more »
  • This is a very well maintained and nicely run course. We come to FMB every year and I look forward to our visiting FMCC for a round.
  • I have played the Donald Ross Memorial Course in Boyne Michigan and was truly looking forward to this historic course. The relatively flat layout is really misleading. The strategically placed traps a...  read more »
  • I called at 8AM on Sunday. for Tee on Monday and was on hold for just 45 seconds. Pleasant lady answered and I was ready to give name and ask closest time available after nine. Just took 20-30 seconds. The review by someone who said the Pro was unprofessional when he called must have been a wrong number when told the pro said"" sounds good to me and hung up'''.I was told by some members there Rick Lamb has been there many years and is very friendly and would be way out of character to be less than receptive as this is his Bread and butter. I played the course before the new modifications and didn't care for it. The changes are wonderful with the elevated greens ,bunkers and the greens are superb with the type of grass used. The fairways are great to hit off of compared to a lot of Florida courses. I loved it so much I played it again a few days later and liked it even more as I knew it better. I will make this my course of choice next winter. Hope the city brings Eastwood surfaces up to these styles in future, what with its great layout. The food and drinks under the umbrella were good also. The Starter was very nice and accommodating when I went as a single. Thanks for a great golf time. Larry from MI
  • My brother-in-law and I played three area courses in the past week and found this one to be the most enjoyable. Course was in very good shape and rates were very reasonable. Best value for the money. Pretty wide open for the most part but still quite challenging. Never been to Florida before but this would be a course that I would not mind playing again.
  • I played this weekend for the first time here. I am a very amateur golfer and I found the course challenging but rewarding. (I only golf like twice a year.) The grounds were nice. I had a cart and there were restrooms along the way and a cart girl selling drinks. It was an enjoyable experience and I would play again. One thing was that they only took reservations 24 hours in advance. Nothing to bad with that, other than I called a week out and then had to call when I was within 24 hours.
  • Very nice management and well kept course. Great location.
  • I called to set a tee time for my buddies and myself. Mr. Un-Professional Dick Lamb answered and was quit rude. I told him i would like to set a time for 9:00 a.m. and he said, "that okay in my book" then hung up immediately. I wasn't even able to give him a name or anything. So, i called back and he answered again, i tried to give him my name and he said there was already someone booked for that time; so i said, "is there a later time?" He said instantly, "NO, we're all booked; BYE, click!" I am going to call back later today when the ladies are working and tell them what i had experienced. Hopefully i will be compensated for my troubles or else, I'm honestly just going to start playing at Eastwood. Even though it's a 25 minute drive versus a 5 minute drive, at least i know that i will be treated with respect and the dignity i deserve as a paying patron.
