  • Took my pup there today for the first time. It must have been hightide because we had to wade through a ton of water very close to the parking area. We got about half way before we called it quits, there was a ton of dog feces floating around and really turned us off. I even saw a guy let his dog defecate into the water, who had diarrhea. Maybe it's nicer when the tide is out but the mess that disgusting and inconsiderate people allow their animals to make is unsanitary and rude! What a shame that some people have to ruin it for the rest! I hope if I ever try to take my dog back there we have a more positive experience.
  • Great park! It's so shallow for so far out, it's pretty much knee deep for half the lagoon. Very small beach but it doesn't matter as you can be out in the water easily. Once you park just walk straight forward from the lot and keep going through the tide pools and hang a right when it opens up
  • I went there for the first time with my 3 year old pup and he loved it. There wasn't too many people around because we arrived around 7 a.m. and there wasn't much land to walk on, but he loved it; was very nice, calm and quiet.
  • Amazing beach whether you have a dog or not. its fun to be there. its low levels so you can seat in the water.
  • I went today and yes you have to walk through knee-deep water to get to the actual very small dog beach. How come no local hasn't just cut a path down straight in front of where you park???????????? If you plan on taking a carrier cart bring a machete.
