  • From back of our hotel: went right instead of heading down to the restaurant area. Quiet natural area. Saw a turtle munching - a nice start for our day. Have gone a couple of times.
  • Alive with birds, dolpins, happy people and B E A C H ! The parking can be miserable, but hang in there you will get a spot. Does need more parking. Always clean, nice restrooms and nice people. Alway...  more »
  • Discovered it quite by accident while staying at the north end of Estero Island - wish we had known about it sooner! It's a great natural area, didn't spend nearly enough time exploring and enjoying. ...  more »

  • This is my favorite beach spot on Fort Myers beach. Not too busy. They have beach access, picnic tables, grills and a nice park area also. You can see Sanibel good from here. Parking is a little steep at $2 an hour but it's worth it! Perfect spot to watch a sunset!
  • Great place to watch sunsets. Usually not very crowded but parking can fill up quickly.
  • Great photo spot. Wrap around beach, right next to shaded green area with many great backgrounds. Pro shooters use this park to take their beach / senior / vacation photos. Try on top of the small hill at sunset. You can get shots of your subject against a beach sunset from an elevated position. Plenty of shade to cool off and clean changing areas..definitely take your camera!
  • Its a beautiful park. Very clean and well maintained. Natural vegetation and a great place to spot wildlife such as herons, osprey and dolphins. Very quiet and a little more private than other areas of the beach.
  • Gorgeous hidden gem on the North end of the island. This point is where the ocean meets the backside of the island and it's undeveloped and wild beach. It's a quiet part of the beach away from the main-stream of the tourists that come to enjoy the beach. Bowditch park is the best thing about Fort Myers Beach. The park is not only beautiful, but it's quiet and allows you to really enjoy the beach. *****
