  • We enjoyed all of the hands on exhibits that they had here. It was a fabulous place to learn about various weather aspects, animals, etc.  more »
  • What can you do on a rainy day with the kids? A visit to the "discoverer" seemed to be the answer Museum. The ticket price of (as of Jan 2018) is not exactly cheap $16 per adult, for children (until 12 years) you pay 13 dollars per person; even for 2-year... The aquariums were very nice and interesting, partly with underwater planks for the little ones. We were allowed to touch even a living Horseshoe Crab. The insect which was preloaded course especially "popular"... Upstairs is among other things the topic body and medicine; Unfortunately, some of the interactive exhibits were broken here. The theme of 'Environment' (wind, energy, etc.) was all in English while interesting, but also here. Our impression: interesting Museum for children between 6 and 10 years - but only if they can do English well or patiently with the translations of the accompanying persons (parents, grandparents) be satisfied we were disappointed.

  • This is one of the "Must Visit" places in Fort Lauderdale... I saw an IMAX Movie in the beautiful, comfortable Theater and explored a few displays in the main area too. It's a bit pricey (especially f...  more »

  • There were some interesting exhibits and an interactive/educational play area which was good for younger children. The entrance fee was reasonably priced, and parking was inexpensive nearby. I felt the majority of the exhibits were geared towards younger children, which is a shame speaking as an adult who loves a good science museum. However, the worst bit for me were the several very tiny animal exhibits featuring animals living by themselves that would normally live in groups which I felt was incredibly inappropriate both for the animals and in the limited information these exhibits actually provided to visitors. Would not recommend to visit this museum for this reason alone.
  • Im not sure who enjoyed this more; me or my two year old daughter. There is a fantastic wildlife section with a variety of animals as you walk in and lots of other exhibitions you would expect of a science museum. A great day out for all ages. Highly recommended
  • A smaller but well maintained and activated Science Centre. Ample parking at the pay-parking lot across the street. Price point was a little high given the limited attractions. Focus on aviation, biology, physiology. Corporate sponsorship is endemic and surprising given the high entrance price.
  • This is the best option around East Broward if you are looking for a Children’s Museum to take your kids. My oldest has been there 3 times at 4, 5 and 6 years of age, and we just took our toddler who is 17 months old. At all those ages I can say we had fun, it was clean, it was engaging, it was interesting, it was awesome. And the prices are not bad at all for what they offer. You can also park your car in the lot across the street and pay with Paymobile. The only down side is that they only have a Subway in the front. I know this happens in every Children’s Museum in the area but I honestly think they should have better choices for hungry kiddos. You should plan the timing of your visit taking in account there is nothing to eat there.
  • With The I-Max movie theater inside one of the coolest and fun for everyone. And the kids have so much fun they don't realize their getting a science education while enjoying themselves. You may have the next Carl Sagan or Neil de'Grasse Tyson living with you?
