  • NUTS TO YOU. And to me too. Priester's has a huge selection for nut lovers. We bought 22 pounds of pecans alone last time. We also bought some very evil candies, but they sure tasted great. On a bike ...  more »

  • I make the road trip down to this place quite often and have been going to this place since I was a little girl. This is a fantastic place for everyone. Great snacks and goodies. Great prices and friendly service. If you love pecans, this is heaven. Every kind of pecan made every kind of way.
  • Priester's has become a "scheduled" stop for our annual trips to Gulf Shores. Very nice/clean restrooms & a wide variety of gourmet pecans for a good snack on the road. I say "snack" because they're a bit pricey, (as good pecans usually are). Gift shop very nice, but very pricey. We'd love the opportunity to meet the owner, by chance, on 1 of our visits there.
  • Such a giant place. LOTS and LOTS of all kinds of things. A great stop while traveling. The reason I gave them 4 stars is because for being such an extremely LARGE store they have the tiniest restrooms ever. Not enough stalls to accommodate all that traffic.
  • Family tradition to stop here every vacation we head up through Alabama!! Lovely atmosphere and fantastic sample selections--from specialty pecans to many jars and samples of dips to be tried with pretzels or chips near the ice cream bar. I love this place!!
  • Awesome place to stop between Birmingham and the beach! Lots of free samples, in-store restaurant, fun clothes and knickknacks, and even a window into their factory to see how they make their delicious pecan treats. If you and your family need a break and some space from your each other during the long drive, this is *the* place to do it!
