  • My kindergarten class enjoyed a fascinating adventure there. It is interactive and appeals to all ages. Our guides knew just what would appeal to our boys and girls. The children can't wait to serve as guides for their families.
  • Fun little museum. A must see on First Friday Art Walk; checked it out this month and found out it's half price or sometimes free on First Friday. Which means $2.50 adult, $1.50 student/senior, and $0.50 children's tickets! (Heard Friday March 3rd, 2017, Art Walk will have a new Egyptian exhibit and have free entry!)
  • This a great little museum for geographers and travelers - a permanent exhibit has high quality craft miniatures showing traditional clothing and homes from the world - the mini Mongolian yurt was a favorite. Another exhibit touched on European immigrants to the United States and had some nice photography, artifacts, and clothing pieces on display to include a giant bearskin coat from Russia, old snow globes from France, and a Christmas Market display with some impressive gingerbread houses. A display of about twenty maps of varying projections and style composed the hallway cartography exhibit - the interesting digital wordmap of surnames in the U.S. is available for exploring in the European immigration exhibit area.
  • Small musuem with ecletic collections of exhibits. Represents a large chuck of former Peace Corp worker collections. Be sure to use the QR code reader to get the indepth stories. Also the BEST was the doll collections, great folk art. Allow a good hour plus to tour, then go have snacks or drinks downtown. 6$ for nonmembers, a great deal.IMHO.
  • Excellent museum for a great price, $5 adult, $1 kid. Small and full of interesting exhibits for adults and kids. Right in Old Town.
