  • When the weather outside is frightful, and the kids are not delightful, get out of the house and visit this museum. A lot of interactive displays to entertain them, and even a lot of adults. The museu...  more »
  • We love the Ft. Collins Museum of Discovery! We have three boys, ages 18, 11, 8 and each had a genuinely enjoyable experience. The exhibits are novel and varied. The museum is of moderate size, so 1.5...  more »
  • This place is wonderful. It has a lot of interactive bits and pieces for kids (mostly about music) and a great place to visit if you're in the Fort Collins area. The place is not very big, but if you ...  more »

  • Second visit, great stuff to see, fun hands on and community areas, fun place for a date. A good mixture of history and current tech/culture. Love the community jam room, though would love more hours and a more fleshed out space. Friendly staff. Relatively cheap. Interesting movie showings upstairs.
  • Great place for kids up through Junior High, and the staff are very friendly. I really appreciated how much effort went into engaging the young kids instead of being a "look but don't touch" museum. Would like to see them expand more in the dinosaur area. Perhaps cover the unattractive warehouse-looking ceiling with a pterodactyl, whale, etc.
  • Great entertainment for the kids, awesome exhibits and fun experiments... however the entire museum is completely open with no walls so if you have more than one toddler it is VERY difficult keeping everyone together, keeping an eye on everyone. The little kid play place is fantastic with a tree clubhouse and water table and trains, however, there is NO latch on the gate to get in so kids can just sneak out.
  • Astounding!!! Went with my 6 year old son and he was so enthralled that after 10 minutes I went back to the front desk and bought the family membership. Every Saturday now he wants to return and he is learning so much. Definitely worth even one visit but now we have a pass for the entire year. Highly recommend!
  • Gr8 fun for kids and adults!! Especially liked the "Let it Snow" show in the dome theatre! Only took one star off cuz seemed like there were many interactive display features that weren't working properly but still a good educational experience!
