  • We have a membership and love it. Lots to do with the kids. Nearly everything is hands on. Fun for the parents as well. There is a toddler area that our little one loves. The only bad thing I can point to, and its not the museum's fault, is that you will see and deal with a good amount of kids where their parents are just staring at their phones and they are doing things they are not suppose to do. Other than that this place is great!
  • I only give it 4 stars because of size and types of exhibits. We have traveled to many cities and children's museums and I would say the best part at this on is the music area. Kids love beating the drums ND playing the guitars. I really like the outdoor music section too! Very creative. Overall a nice museum to let kids play and explore. But after you go once or twice, it seems like the same exhibits are still there and older kids can get hired but if you have a membership than it's a great place to go for 30 min to an hour even if they have been several times. I hope this review helps.
  • The Discovery Museum is great for all ages. It gives good insight for visitors about Fort Collins history and wildlife. We love taking our young child on the annual family pass. She enjoys playing the drums in the very interactive sound area.
  • My 10 year old though it might not be a cool museum.... boy was he wrong! He had a blast and I did too. Very cool learning museum. For ALL ages.
  • The Discovery Museum has come a long way since their origins. While relatively small compared to something like the Denver museum, it's a nice size with great activities for For Collins. The kids had fun with the music exhibits and playing with the water, while I found the sugar beet exhibit interesting. We all had fun with the glow wall. We'll look forward to coming back when we're in town.
