  • There are so many things to see and do at the Museum of Discovery. Kids of all ages really can enjoy all the interactive activities and hands-on fun!
  • Kids absolutely love this place ! So many musical instruments set up for them to easily play. I especially enjoy the impressive local folsom points collection, largest outside the Smithsonian. Fort Collins history area has video interviews from long time residents. The water room is sort of a puzzle in how to set up "logs" to best irrigate the digital trees. I could spend hours in there !
  • Great museum with original and creative exhibits. I've always been impressed with their ability to keep all of the hands-on exhibits functioning. Black-footed ferrets, movies in the digital dome, local history, science, and music all come together to create a very memorable experience.
  • Excellent place to take kids of all ages. History, science, music and art. Price seemed great for the experience we had. We will return. 1 yr old and 4 yr old loved it
  • I brought my 3, 9 and 11 year children to this museum for an afternoon in Ft. Collins. This museum is not too expensive (30% less than Denver Museum of Nature and Science). The music exhibit is entertaining and interesting. You see examples of sound and color in unique ways. My family spent over 2 hours and saw most of the exhibits, although not in detail (I took my 3 year old, remember). Everyone was involved in the hands on exhibit. I do not play instruments, but I was able to try a few at this museum. Other exhibits related to Ft. Collins and Colorado history were also interesting and included hands on experience. I learned new facts I hadn't' considered (source of Watt and horsepower) before. I highly recommend visiting this museum if you have an afternoon in Ft. Collins! Even a second time!
  • My wife and I take our daughter here every opportunity we get. She has a blast exploring the museum, playing with the various exhibits. There's also a section devoted to Fort Collins' history, along with video journals from longtime residents. A great educational experience!
