  • Met with some friends who lived in Fort Collins. Nice not so small brewery that has great beers and very good burgers. With the beer they serve water which is a very good idea.
  • As a local have visited this brewery when they used to be on Lincoln Ave (Funkwerks present location) and when they moved into their current place. I had a friend visiting so we stopped off to sample ...  more »
  • I was excited to try my first brewery in Ft. Collins and chose FCB because they were one of a few microbrewerys offering a full menu. I had their IPA and was a big fan of this beer. My boyfriend tried...  more »

  • Leaving the "Burger Bar" now. We came to eat a Tavern Burger based off of a friend's review of how great it was. Saturday brunch doesn't allow for you to order this in the restaurant, you have to go next door to the burger bar. This wouldnt have been an issue except management put a brand new server back there by himself. He was great and tried his best but clearly wasn't fully trained to run the area on his own. Management should have done better.
  • Still not totally sure what the point of the "Burger Bar" was, but it seemed pretty pointless. Arrived on a Saturday at 2pm after raving about their food to a friend. Wanted to order a Tavern Burger since it was delicious last time. Brunch was still going on inside the actual restaurant, so they wouldn't serve us from the dinner menu. Instead, we were told we had to visit their Burger Bar, which was basically just a bar with minimal seating that was attached to the exact same kitchen where they were cooking all the brunch food. Why we couldn't sit in the actual restaurant and order off the dinner menu is beyond me. Anyways - food was great as always, which is why this gets 3 stars.
  • This was our last night in Fort Collins and by far our favorite. My husband and I stopped by with the intention of only eating dinner. Ryan, the bartender, immediately greeted us with a sample of a beer and we went on from there. Ryan was incredible and made this stop great for beers as well as food. He was friendly and knowledgeable about each beer on tap. The Tavern Burger and the Prime Rib Sandwich were amazing. We can't wait to come in back to enjoy the same hospitality and great food and beer again!
  • Fantastic experience. Tried every single beer on tap, and they were all wonderful. I also was surprised how good the food is! I split the tavern burger, the fried Brussel sprouts and the indian fried bread with my husband. Highly recommend, but only if you have good taste.
  • We were out in colorado on vacation and overall we hit up nine breweries. This was the best experience of the three in Fort Collins (we tried this, NB, and odells). Honestly I don't see what all the fuss is about with odells, the beers were bland, you couldn't even sit at the bar, and the service was poor, like they just wanted to get you your beers so you would leave them alone. Totally different experience here. Our bartender was not only attentive but also very personable. We talked him up for two hours while enjoying 6 drafts and various other tastings. While we were in and out of odells in under a half hour we didn't want to leave here. The beers here demonstrated a lot of creativity, I really enjoyed the pomegranate wheat but the stout was good as well. The food was also excellent, highly recommend the prime rib sandwich. New Belgium was fun, odells was disappointing, but this was the place we'll remember from our trip. Would recommend this, Avery in Longmont, and broken compass in Breck as the top three from our trip.
