  • This place is an awesome hike for beginners and veterans alike, has trails for walking and separate trails for biking and horseback riding. The only draw back is that on some sections of the trail, bikers and walkers have to share, but it's a minimal issue as long as you are aware of your surroundings. It is a very popular trail as well, so some times i would imagine the parking area could potentially fill up. Nonetheless, go ahead and give it a try, for up at the peak is a rewarding and beautiful scenic view!
  • It was a great hike! Very beautiful. Amazing views almost the whole way up. Extremely hot, though - be sure to bring lots of water. The top ridge is amazing!
  • This is an Awesome place for a hike...it is especially nice in the evening. Animals, cool plants, and insects, a cabin you can walk back to, and even rock with fossils as this area used to be under the ocean. One of my absolute favorites nearby. Easy to begin and then intermediate. Eventually meets up with trail that will take you to Devil's Backbone or Horsetooth.
  • I love this place just because it's a natural area! I love natural and outdoor places where I can see great views! I have one question though. What equipment would you suggest bringing and wearing when visiting this place?
  • Great place to hike or run ! Uphill. You get great views of the valley, with each ridge you climb. It is 2.1 miles to the top of the main ridge. There is a bathroom halfway up the trail. And a bench to rest on at the top. Enjoy !!
