  • We had a great family gathering. We bbq'd and told stories to remind ourselves of what we still had. (*we'd just lost grandma) It was a beautiful day. There are enough covered places you don't have to...  read more »

  • Loved this park. We visited when there was light sprinkles but still played outside. It was nice to just stroll the lush landscape and walk the lake. I would recommend this park for out-of-towner's.
  • I LOVE City Park! A large lake is the heart of the park and it attracts an ever rotating cast of birds and waterfowl throughout the seasons. Just yesterday, I observed 2 pelicans, 5 cormorants, a turtle basking in the sun on a log it shared with the cormorants, a mallard hen with her 5 young chicks in tow, a garter snake, and the ever present flocks of geese and ducks that call City park home. In addition to that there are paddle boats and canoes for rent, places to fish from, tennis courts, large expanses of lawn, HUGE mature trees of many varieties, a wonderful swimming pool for kids of all ages with a really cool water slide, lots of areas to kick back and read a book or have a picnic. This park is a gem!
  • This is a really nice place for just walking around in general, and the lake is really nice. It's also really nice for playing Pokémon Go around 10 PM, whenever I'm there around then, there are plenty of other trainers, and usually pretty good variation in Pokémon to catch. ^^
  • Beautiful, popular park with a nice pond, some gorgeous trees, well kept grass and a gentle hill. Tuesdays in summertime it's also a food event, with a dozen or more local vendors, live music and more.
  • Lovely place. Walk around the lake is peaceful. The park and area around it are kept really clean and safe!
  • Best. Park. Ever. Tons of green space, playground was in the shade. Water park was fantastic (looking) it was the Pooch Plunge - a spectacle worth noting
