  • Wonderful little museum. Captain Cass is great. There are a lot of examples of beautiful beach glass with information about everything you need to know about the subject.  more »
  • Neat , tidy and informative. The local operating the museum was interesting, but a bit eccentric. The history about the origins of Glass Beach was informative.  more »
  • This is a mans labor of love. He is an artist. He has turned sea glass into lovely jewelry that he sells. But he also educates us on what sea glass is and has some beautiful displays of all the differ...  more »

  • Quaint little converted house into two "museums." One is worth visiting, the other isn't. This is the one that you should visit. If visiting the sea glass beach, be sure to grab some "seed glass" to ensure that the beach isn't depleted of its attraction.
  • You think its going to be cool, but you go in and its disappointing. Just and old dude that collects glass and displays it in old jewelry store display cases. Has multiple videos running at once. One is with Hule Howser talking about glass beach and how it was a dump long ago then ordinance said to remove everything but glass was still there. And another is a public access interview with the proprietor of the "museum" where you can tell the interviewer is thinking "am I really doing this, FML"
  • Interesting owner, knowledgeable about the history of glass beach and the surrounding area. Has been interviewed on a local talk show. Small shop with a variety of sea glass, etc. Fun for a visit to say I've seen it.
  • Interesting to learn how to identify the origins of the sea glass... and the history of the dumps. Captain Cass is very knowledgeable and helpful. Lots of artifacts. Also a gift store, with books, glass identifying cards, and jewelery.
  • Knowledgeable owner, cool artifacts. Stop here first for a bag of glass to help replenish Glass Beach.
