  • $2 admission for the museum although we did not go in. The real gem is the free logging and mill tour every Wednesday morning that is about 3-4 hours where they take you to a logging site and you get to actually see up close the process and machines they use. By close I mean we could literally touch the equipment. The tour guide is wonderful and was a logger for 40 years so is very knowledgeable. You need to call the forks chamber of commerce/visitor center and reserve your spots as only 10 people are allowed on the tour.
  • Great place! The museum is as you enter Forks from the South and next to various Twilight attractions such as Bella‚Äôs truck. This is a quaint museum with a lot of things packed into a small building and a super inexpensive admission of only 3$. A true piece of history! The guide is also very friendly and knowledgeable. It was really interesting to know more about history of this tiny town! There are also a nice trail into woods behind the building. And next to it is the Visitor center.
  • This is for the visitor center - I didn't stop and look around long enough because the moment after using the bathroom I was ganged-up on by employees and coerced into signing the guestbook. The bathroom was nice and the guestbook was a real treat to sign and I'm afraid if I said otherwise they would track me down and maybe beat me. Also there was vampire stuff all over the place and I left as quick as I could because I had done my duty and signed the guestbook. The guestbook is life. Nothing else matters except signing the guestbook. When you sign the guestbook, an angels gets its wings. If you don't sign the guestbook, a random person's puppy dies. I suggest everyone stop and sign the guestbook. Don't even frikking think about leaving without signing the guestbook.
  • This museum is really cool! It was amazing to learn about the history of Forks, its contributions to the lumbering industry and to learn of the lives of the people who made it happen. Very well organized and the staff has expansive knowledge of the collection. Their excitement about some of the artifacts (the canoe inside for instance, be sure to check it out) helps fuel your own excitement as well! Be sure to check out the trails out back too! I definitely hope I get to make it out to the peninsula to visit again.
  • An eclectic, yet interesting little museum about the history of Forks and the logging industry. Some interesting displays but could use a little more organizing and lighting. I wish you could enter their replica fire tower, it is a bit of a bummer you can only look through a window. But it is worth it for $3. Especially if you are a history buff.
