  • This is such a great place! We were the only ones so we got upgraded to a private tour. Took us off the beaten path so we could see and feed even more animals. We. Ought a bag of food and I think this...  more »
  • This place is great to visit with your kids. We had so much fun feeding the animals that the kids wanted to do the tour again. We were fortunate enough to even get to feed the giraffe's out of our han...  more »

  • SO much fun!!! The kids LOVE this, we have gone multiple times. We've taken ages 2 to 11, and they've all enjoyed it. I will warn you (as they will too) the Zebra's are not always nice. They kinda bully the other animals for food. But it is a very cool experience. I have yet to feed a giraffe, they are more stand-offish. I know we will go back again, hopefully one day I'll get my chance!
  • This place was great!!! About an hour from downtown New Orleans in the middle or nowhere is this perfect little sanctuary. We took the group tour and it was fantastic. So many animals who look forward to being patted and fed. I was impressed with the knowledge and stories coming from the guide. Even though we were in dead heat, it actually didn't feel too bad in the covered truck. I would recommend this to adults and kiddies alike!
  • LAST YEAR WE TOOK THE WAGON TRAIL TOUR, AND IT WAS GOOD. THIS MORNING WE TOOK THE PRIVATE TOUR, WITH TOUR GUIDE NICOLE. SHE WAS VERY IMFORMATIVE, KNEW ALL KINDS OF INFORMATION ABOUT THE ANIMALS AND WAS A JOY TO BE AROUND. WE LOVED THE GIRAFFES, SPENT MOST OF THE TIME FEEDING AND INTERACTING WITH THEM. IF YOU HAVE THE OPPUTUNITY TO TAKE THE PRIVATE TOUR, TREAT YOURSELF. IT'S SO WORTH IT.
  • I've been here twice and both times were so amazing. Great family place! The staff is extremely nice and courteous. Hope to go back soon!!
  • Global Wildlife Center is a buttiful sprawling Wildlife sanctuary. I enjoy going because it's interactive yet relaxing. It's very education and always different. They're animals give birth on the sanctuary. So you get to see baby giraffes antelope zebra kangaroo and ostriches. There or several different species. The majority or the same as you would find on the African Savanah. Witch is suitable for the Terrain. They do have animals from other places such as Australia and Peru. I also happen to live quit close to the wildlife center. Witch growing up next to was a dream. I know the people who work there and they are truly dedicated to the happiness and healthiness of the animals. The community in which the wild life center is. Is a community of farmers who have generations of expertise in eco. management . They have also taken steps to move into the new age of technology and innovation. The have solar powered facilities on the grounds as well. So all in all its a great place for anyone looking for a good time. Pluses you help the local community and the world because education is the is the light that illuminates the darkness of ignorance
