  • Lots of great food selections, dips, sauces, cheese, etc. with plenty of samples to test. Most of it is made elsewhere and labeled Fly Creek. So I stop by the fudge counter. They have about 25 differe...  more »
  • Went on a quiet Thursday afternoon in April. I can imagine that it gets quite crowded during the fall. They had a great variety of samples to taste. The fudge is outstanding and you must get the apple...  more »

  • Been coming here for over 25 years now. I live in New Jersey but my family has a second home near by to Fly Creek. It gets really crowded in September/October and most times you have to wait in a long line outside the store. They only let so many people in at a time and its common to wait twenty plus minutes this time of year. They have cider samples as your waiting in line to ease the pain. Over all a great place but the doughnuts have changed since the original recipe. The new ones they have been mass producing are horrible and leave an after taste and waxy film in your mouth. The original recipe was so light and fluffy with no unnatural additives. Really wish they would bring back the old recipe. The cider on the other hand is the best in the New York and New Jersey area by fair. Go to the store first then the snack bar. There are always coupons for the snack bar on your recipe. Place is slightly over priced but they do offer loyalist program for rewards if you are a regular.
  • Very cool cider mill. Way off in the woods. I expected it to be less commercial than it was, which is not a bad thing. LOTS of prepared products like dips, fudge, donuts, and obviously cider. They have samples of a lot of what they sell. Everything I tried was good. Cool place to visit, I will definitely go back!
  • My sons and I make the pilgrimage to Cooperstown twice a year and always make time to go to the Fly Creek Cider Mill. We get our usual haul of awesome extra sharp cheese, cider donuts, caramel apple pie, and sweet corn salsa. Plus, with the samples, we always find some more stuff to get. Then we go and stuff ourselves at the food counter. Always get a meal deal. Love the chili in a bread bowl and pulled pork sandwich. Hint: buy something inside first and get a 10% off coupon for food.
  • Lots of fun sampling snacks, tasting wine/gin/hard cider, and feeding the waterfowl. Everything is very clean and well organized. Nick was very helpful and funny! We didn't care for the cider donuts, but that's what sampling is for. Please note that the bakery/restaurant is seasonal, which was a bit disappointing, as the food is always very good. We had a great visit and lots of laughs.
  • See the cider being made! Have the outstanding cider doughnuts! Get an incredible pie for later! There's a huge gift shop with a lot of jams, spicy sauces, etc. if you're into that kind of thing. Let the kids feed the ducks. A fun diversion very close to Cooperstown.
