  • Saw the place listed as part of the Cooperstown wine trail, and just happened to come across it while driving around. A great place! Plenty of dips, salsas, jellies, sauces - with ample samples so you...  more »
  • It was uncharacteristically quiet the day we were there - which was great for us to browse, get some great after Christmas deals on ornaments and test too much fudge. Always fun.  more »

  • See the cider being made! Have the outstanding cider doughnuts! Get an incredible pie for later! There's a huge gift shop with a lot of jams, spicy sauces, etc. if you're into that kind of thing. Let the kids feed the ducks. A fun diversion very close to Cooperstown.
  • Your trip to Cooperstown is not complete unless you make the 10 minute drive to Fly Creek. It's more than a cider mill- they have some of the best seasonings/dips/marinades you'll ever find. My wife and I make the yearly 5 hour trip and always leave with lots of stuff. Stop by in mid September to see them pressing apple cider right in the store.
  • Cider Mill, Cidery, Winery, Distillery, Farm Market - they do it all at Fly Creek Cider Mill. The best part is you can sample for FREE all of their beverages: hard ciders, wines, spirits, fresh cider. They also sample 40 food products daily for FREE. Handmade fudge, aged cheddar cheese, pies, fry cakes and of course apples are all the best quality. This is a family owned and operated Agra-business which not only focuses on local NY state products, but also employees many local people. I will visit them any time I am in the Cooperstown area, NY needs more small business's like this!!
  • We live locally. Though the prices are a bit high because it has become a tourist attraction... it is a nice place to go with family to feed the ducks and get some great apples. Been going since I'm a little girl. Now I bring my 4 kids! Headed over today for our first time this year.
  • This was a nice little place to visit with family. Everything was very aesthetically pleasing. The buildings were nice and I liked the setup. There were many different dips and sauces to browse. Along with cheesees, wine, and fudge. And the prices weren't too bad. Though nothing really interested me, my girlfriend really liked it. The biggest shortcomings for me was the food available at the little snack shack place. Firstly, it was all very expensive for what you were getting. Secondly the food was mediocre at best. And the pie was extremely displeasing. For such a pleasant and quaint place I was not expecting canned filling. I guess I expected too much. I wouldn't say not to visit. It is definitely pleasing to some. Just don't expect too much. And if you're looking for food I suggest you check out other establishments in the area.
