  • I think the most important thing to know is try not to go on a weekend (unless really early) or a holiday. Fly Creek is very popular and gets very, very busy. I like to go during the week or first thi...  read more »
  • We had the Apple dumpling, cider donuts and apple stick. Fun, food and ducks to feed. Very entertaining for all ages.
  • Living in Upstate NY, I'm lucky to have access to great cider mills. Unfortunately, Fly Creek Cider Mill is not what it used to be. For some years now, my husband and I visit every October. However th...  read more »
  • See the cider being made! Have the outstanding cider doughnuts! Get an incredible pie for later! There's a huge gift shop with a lot of jams, spicy sauces, etc. if you're into that kind of thing. Let the kids feed the ducks. A fun diversion very close to Cooperstown.
  • Cider Mill, Cidery, Winery, Distillery, Farm Market - they do it all at Fly Creek Cider Mill. The best part is you can sample for FREE all of their beverages: hard ciders, wines, spirits, fresh cider. They also sample 40 food products daily for FREE. Handmade fudge, aged cheddar cheese, pies, fry cakes and of course apples are all the best quality. This is a family owned and operated Agra-business which not only focuses on local NY state products, but also employees many local people. I will visit them any time I am in the Cooperstown area, NY needs more small business's like this!!
  • This was a nice little place to visit with family. Everything was very aesthetically pleasing. The buildings were nice and I liked the setup. There were many different dips and sauces to browse. Along with cheesees, wine, and fudge. And the prices weren't too bad. Though nothing really interested me, my girlfriend really liked it. The biggest shortcomings for me was the food available at the little snack shack place. Firstly, it was all very expensive for what you were getting. Secondly the food was mediocre at best. And the pie was extremely displeasing. For such a pleasant and quaint place I was not expecting canned filling. I guess I expected too much. I wouldn't say not to visit. It is definitely pleasing to some. Just don't expect too much. And if you're looking for food I suggest you check out other establishments in the area.
  • Tasty food and drink. Wine and cider tastings. Playground and ducks to feed. Huge store of food and knick knacks. Good fun for everyone.
  • No matter how lovely or quaint the scenery may be, it can't make up for poor human relations and attacking nursing mothers. It is natural. Let the babies eat. People like you would probably try to shame Mary for nursing baby Jesus if you could go back in time. Haven't you heard that you'll catch more flies with honey than vinegar?! Well what mass of customers are going to come to you knowing you discriminate? I hope you can change and your business can recover after this appalling behavior
