  • We had a wonderful time at this museum...it covered the Native American people, pioneer & settlers as well as a great section on the prison. The curator was wonderful and gave us a first rate tour...

  • Very well put together small town museum, definitely worth the trip. There is a seven dollar entry fee for adults however children are free. Great place to take the family if you are interested in the history of the area. The staff was very friendly and even suggested a scavenger hunt for the kids. This is a must see if you are in the area!
  • Really nice museum. Very friendly and knowledgeable Docents. Definitely worth seeing.
  • Lady at the front desk was very informative and welcoming spoke directly to my children, and the kids really enjoyed the scavenger hunt,
  • An absolutely amazing place! If I could, I would rate it 10 stars! The museum was extremely interesting and was filled with many artifacts. The ladies there knew everything about the place and were very knowledgeable. One lady (I don’t remember her name, I think it was like Kat or something) was such a sweetheart! She told us everything about each artifact thoroughly. What I think was awesome, we had told her we lived near the area, and there was a huge storm coming, instead of ignoring it and making us stay longer, she warned us instantly, she didn’t have to do that! This place was just amazing! PLEASE GO HERE AND SUPPORT A SMALL/LOCAL BUSINESS, YOU WON’T REGRET IT!!
  • Clean, well staged, helpful and knowledgeable staff, exhibits very well done a well rounded museum
