  • I had a wonderful time gambling and relaxing. Variety of restaurants and a beautiful scenic view. I would visit again!
  • We stopped by while traveling to Deep Creek Lake. It was midday on a Sunday. They were steady not to crowded. We found out that they have taken out one of the machines that a family member plays, they...  read more »
  • We traveled to this area probably a week or two early - had hoped to see some fall foliage but only occasional pockets of color. Lovely lake and scenery nonetheless. The room was large, clean, large T...  read more »
  • Rocky Gap has always been a favorite place for me to visit- I love hiking the 5 mile trail around the lake. I recently stayed a few nights in the casino/resort and it was fabulous. Wonderful service and a great overall experience for someone who enjoys a little relaxation by the lake.
  • Perfect if you want scenic relaxation. The grounds, lake, and mountain views are the reason you should visit Rocky Gap Hotel & Casino. I spent a few days here with my family and enjoyed my stay; most of the staff were pleasant and professional, and the room was clean and comfortable. I don't have any major complaints or dislikes about my visit, but one small gripe: I did email management a week prior to visiting to query if any of the on-site restaurants could accommodate special dietary requests, but never got any type of response - I ended up not visiting the restaurants because of this, choosing instead to prepare all of our meals ahead of time and grilling in the park. Overall, it was great and I will book another room there in the future, for sure!
  • They couldn't find our reservation, but after a while, they made it work. My step-dad kept complaining about being served beer in plastic cups, but me and mom love it here! We keep hoping that the increase in popularity and recent expansions don't push us out price-wise.
  • This was the worst hotel experience I have EVER had. To begin with the hotel room and beds are equivalent to a motel room in decoration and comfort, but our rom had a strange smell in it as well. However, the WORST part of the hotel experience was the staff. While staying at the hotel I saw a group of Asians checking in. As they talked to each other in their native language in the lobby two hotel staff pointed at and laughed at them behind their backs. My husband and I are also Asian and experienced some of the most indifferent interactions with the hotel staff that we have ever experienced. Later that night my husband and I got food poisoning from the hotel wings, which an employee later told us we should never eat. We asked the hotel if we could have a late check-out because of being sick from their food, but no one with authority to make that decision was in the hotel. We left the hotel at 3:00 am because of how sick we were from their food and how unhelpful the staff was. Staff did not even apologize for our sickness nor help us with our bags as we left. When calling the hotel to discuss the food poisoning and racially prejudice behavior of their employees management was indifferent. Two managers straight up lied to me and said they could not refund us because we made the purchase through Groupon, when Groupon said the hotel just needs to approve a refund to refund us. The management was indifferent to the employees who were pointing at and laughing at the Asian party checking in. Don’t ever stay here, bad/stinky rooms, food poisoning, and RACIST staff and management, unless you are a bigot yourself, then you will fit right in.
  • A party of 8 adults and 2 toddlers went for early dinner at the buffet, and we received very good service. They recommended that we get the free player's club card to get a discount to the buffet. Our server was friendly and professional, and fulfilled our drink orders promptly. The buffet itself was mediocre though. The choice was limited and some things on the printed menu werw not available. The food was not worth it for the price.
