  • Nothing like a haunted hayride, for fun with friends Easter egg hunt for families, and fresh farm produce grown by a local farm!!
  • What a wonderful family owned farm for produce and agritainment. Most of their produce is fresh picked that day from their own farm. They also have a petting zoo so bring the kids. In the fall they have Haunted Hayrides, Corn Maizes, tons and tons of pumpkins and wonderful events for the whole family.
  • My family visits often to show farm animals to our toddlers. Petting zoo is really nice, kids love it. Also did an Easter egg hunting last year and it was fun too.
  • I wanted to purchase a few chickens to raise with my grandchildren. I hadn't had chickens since I was a child I wanted to buy locally. I am so happy that I found Schaefer Farms Renee is a real pro with her animals, she really took her time with me as I couldn't decide of I wanted chicks or 13 week old hens . Well I bought both, along with 5 ducks. My grandchildren love them and pet them and gather their eggs! Everyone of them are super healthy and beautiful. Best place to buy chicks and ducks!!!
  • A friend recommended that I call Schaefer Farms to purchase ducklings--I was looking to add a few to my flock. I was so excited to find a local farm that sells ducks so around 845 am yesterday morning I Googled their contact page and gave them a call. This is how the conversation went: Schaefer Farms: "Hello?" Me: "Hi. I saw on your website and heard from a friend that you're selling baby chicks. Do you have any ducklings as well?" Schaefer Farms: Pause. "Well I believe it also says on our website that we don't open until 930am. And no, we're out of ducklings." Me: "Thanks." Click. I was so stunned at the woman's answer to my very simple question. If they weren't open yet, why did she bother to answer the phone? And no, Schaefer Farms, your contact page does not state your hours. Running my own business, I know that every interaction with a customer is an opportunity to create a good impression. If this is how a staff member treats a prospective customer, I will definitely never spend my money there. And I certainly wouldn't have purchased their ducklings even if she had said they were for sale.
  • Got to the haunted hayride at 8pm and didn't get on the ride until 11! Waste of 3 hours! When I tried to get my money back after 2 hours they wouldn't refund me!
