  • Love coming here to walk in the woods with the dog. It is clean, refreshing and quiet. Just a lovely location.  more »
  • This was our favorite park to visit with young kids. Nice sunny grassy park, big jungle gym area for little & big kids, lots of swings. Some picnic tables amongst the trees making for some shady areas...  more »

  • We needed a place to stretch our legs and burn off some of our kids' and dog's energy while visiting Flagstaff waiting for our hotel room to be ready. We found Thorpe Park. This is a great park! There are plenty of activities for the kids, disc golf, tennis courts, and a really nice walking path that we enjoyed. Pine trees are everywhere and the wind was softly whistling through them as we walked. Everyone had a good time and were properly worn out by the time the hotel room was ready for us that afternoon.
  • A great public park area with a toddler and bigger kids playground area, picnic tables, lots of grass areas, sports fields, a dog park, adequate parking and more.
  • Lots of grass and trees and two playgrounds, one for small and one for bigger kids. Also has lots of swings, a cool T-rex "rocking horse" and a play "fire truck." Also noticed quite a few tennis courts. Great park!!
  • A great place to go on Sunday afternoons if you want to meet interesting people in armor.
  • Large grassy spaces, 5 slides on larger kids play set, 3 on the little kiddo set, gated on the road side, tennis courts border another side, ample swings with 2 for toddler/infant, firetruck, and ride on bouncy motorcycles and dinosaur. Lots of benches. I think the only improvement would be permanent bathrooms. A little ambiguous about dogs. I know they aren't allowed on the actual playgrounds. As long as you scoop the poop I don't see any problems with leashed dogs. It's hard when your are trying to get both kids and dog exercise.
