  • My wife loved this place. Our guide that took us through the trails of wildlife and vegetation was very knowledgeable. Even though it was a warm day we found it refreshing from the shade of the pines....  read more »
  • Aborted trip 2 miles from Arboretum because road was likely to damage our rented car at 10 miles per hour.

  • Made this an impromptu stop while visiting Flagstaff this past weekend, and were so glad we did. There were beautiful flowers to photograph and enjoy and there was a beautiful wedding going on while we were there too. The staff was extremely friendly including the staff member who we flagged down as she left and happily answered our questions at the entrance gate (she exemplified joy in her responses about the place) and Emily (behind the desk at the Visitor Center) was so very pleasant. Also, the woman in the horticulture center was pleasant. She helped us get a bucket to photograph a flower from the top-side so we didn't have to touch anything. Photos came out amazing! Thanks so much for making our stop a pleasant one--it ended up being the highlight of our trip!
  • An absolute favorite for locals and tourists alike. Wonderful grounds that are prime examples of what Flagstaff has to offer.
  • Not as many or as large of facilities as you might expect for a normal arboretum, but the countryside is beautiful and it may develop further in the future. The ride out there is a little rough
  • Perfect place for a relaxing afternoon nature walk. Plenty of benches to sit and enjoy the views. They have signs throughout the trail that tell you about the different plants and animals that thrive in the area. Truly magical. You won't regret it.
  • Awesome place to take the kids. Lots to see and gorgeous views. Easy to get too as well. The dirt road getting there is well maintained and easily drivable. I can't wait to get back to visit.
