  • This was a wonderful experience! Really enjoyed the trail walk through the property. Many beautiful plants, in a wonderful location. Also enjoyed the greenhouses!  more »

  • The Arboretum may be beautiful and wonderful...I don't know. I never got there! The road to the Arboretum is about 3 miles long. It is dirt and rock, and parts resemble a washboard. Don't take a clean car! Don't take a low-clearance vehicle! Don't take a car you care about! I drove a mile and a half in an F150--and turned around. The road is disgraceful. Why don't they get a federal (or some other) grant and pave the road? How long has it been this way? How long will it be this way? I won't try to visit the Arboretum again until the road is paved.
  • Kind of out of the way at the end of a dirt road. It's on the small side but not the worst then you have this sort that I have visited. The staff was friendly and accommodating but there's just not a lot to do. They don't offer any kind of food or libation so you can stretch out your visit unless you bring a sack lunch
  • We went at the wrong time of the year, everything was drying off for the winter. Not a bad way to spend a few hours, I imagine in the spring/summer it's much nicer. We still had fun walking around.
  • Beautiful location for a wedding. The reason I give it 3 stars and not 5 was because the wasps and bees there were everywhere once the food was put out. It was overwhelming.
  • Terrible drive up for our small car. Big rough dirt/gravel road. We had to go 10mph in our chevy cavalier otherwise it would be way too bumpy. Then when you get here, it's not much. The butterfly house is really small with hardly any butterflies. And the park itself is small. It only took about 20 minutes to walk the whole thing at a normal pace. I was very disappointed with our experience here at the Flagstaff Arboretum. Not worth the time and money.
