This Family is rich in Arizona History. Very interesting in how they lived then.Cannot touch anything, understandable, very visual almost hands-on. Have visited several times and has always been enjoyable. This was one of the first families to occupy this area.

Visited the mansion on St. Patrick's Day for a special whiskey tasting. They allowed the guests to sit at the main dining table for the first time which was really cool. I did not get to tour the mansion, but the overall hospitality and preparation that went into the whiskey tasting event was perfect. I hope the historical society continues to fund raise with events like that one.

I was able to participate in a very unique opportunity to taste scotch in the mansion thanks to the Celtic Heritage Society and Riordan Ranch SP. It was amazing. I hope to be able to participate in similar offerings in the future.

lovely mansion near NAU. They offer tours inside and a self guided walk around the grounds. Doesn't take too long to do everything here, but worth it if you're on NAU campus waiting for something else.

Amazing home. Way before their time.

Where to stay in Flagstaff

Flagstaff's diverse assortment of hotels and motels provides all the amenities you need to relax after a long day adventuring. The city is home to a number of luxury bed and breakfasts complete with jetted tubs and fireplaces. Budget-friendly bed and breakfasts have fewer facilities and are often farther out of town, but boast plenty of charm and character. If you like the outdoors, take advantage of the city's mountain surroundings and pitch a tent at a campground in nearby Kaibab National Forest.
