Where to stay in Flagstaff

Flagstaff's diverse assortment of hotels and motels provides all the amenities you need to relax after a long day adventuring. The city is home to a number of luxury bed and breakfasts complete with jetted tubs and fireplaces. Budget-friendly bed and breakfasts have fewer facilities and are often farther out of town, but boast plenty of charm and character. If you like the outdoors, take advantage of the city's mountain surroundings and pitch a tent at a campground in nearby Kaibab National Forest.

  • Excellent museum on local Anaszi sites and artifacts and information. Good bookstore and gift shop. Nice geology section too.
  • Enjoyed this place. Brought my 17th month old and was surprised to find a little kids section where he could play with some blocks and books and get some energy out. Also a beautiful area to walk outside.
  • We happened to visit during the Hopi Festival - what a great experience!!
  • I took my first grade class here, and the docents were knowledgeable, patient, and kind. The displays are so interesting and well curated!
  • Disclaimer- I work here. Its a great medium- sized museum covering a wide range of topics from geology to culture. Two great museum shops offer items to continue learning or purchase your own art or jewerly piece. But really it's a museum you can handle in a couple of hours, yet still find something new on the next trip.
