  • Great park! We camped there for a few days. The camp sites were in decent shape, the bathrooms/showers were adequate. The hiking trails were amazing. If you enjoy hiking make sure to go through Eagle Trail. It's marked as "difficult" but it's not bad at all. The sights on this trail are amazing. 2 minor complaints: The lumber yard is only open from 4-7. We only camp a couple times a year so I don't know if this is common or not. But we found those hours to be a fairly big inconvenience. We had to plan our days around making sure we'd be back in time to buy firewood. Also, we found a lot of the trail heads were not marked very clearly. Many trail heads had no signs at all. And sometimes we'd walk up to a map that would be so sun-faded that the "You are here" star would be completely gone. Overall, if you like hiking or biking I would highly recommend this park. We typically visit Door Co. once a year and decided to camp instead of staying at a hotel this time. It was a great decision.
  • This is my favorite Wisconsin state park!!!! Great for camping with your family. So much to do you don't even need to leave the park. Multiple hiking trails of various difficulty. Great bike trail. Lighthouse you can tour. A Vita Trail. A golf course. The beach that has concessions, bike, kayak, SUP, peddle boat rentals. Boat launch. Beautiful sunsets along Skyline Road. Love it here!!!!!!!!
  • Great park. Spent the days hiking. Great trails. Very scenic. Suggest bringing bikes as there are plenty of riding paths.
  • Great hiking trails-- not too long (longest is 2 miles one way. Also good biking trails. The swimming beach is a bit busy.
  • Wonderful Park, only reason we're not giving a 5 is because we needed to dump tanks midway thru our vacation and every day the dump station was closed. we could accept this, but this is the second year that this has happened. We also heard this from other campers, very frustrating when we were told you have to go down to Sturgeon bay to dump. The park offers so much and our kids and grandkids love it every year. Just fix the dump stations please or tell the campers at check in that the station is closed.
