  • Girlfriend, dog & I took a day trip here: hiking, sunset, dinner. Great area for camping and water activities. ProTip: book your hotel room early.

  • I absolutely love this park/campground. I have been going here almost every year since I was 2 years old. There is so much to do here! Hiking, biking, swimming/eating at the beach, golfing, and much more. It is in a great location of Door County. Fish Creek and Ephraim are on either side of the park, with plenty to do in both towns as well. A fun park for all ages!
  • Every time we come to Door County we always make sure to go to the state park. The Sunset Trail is amazing to bike on because it allows you to see all different aspects of the park and get in a good ride. Also, the lighthouse in the park is a really great stop in the park. Overall a really well taken care of and fun park to visit!
  • The scenery is beautiful and there are plenty of areas for activities. The bike paths are nice but the beach is a bit small for all the people on a nice summer day. The camping is ok but it's really hard to get spots together here if you're going with a big group. Our family booked as early as we could and still ended up in different rows. There is also a lot of space in between the spots that makes it hard to congregate with the people you went with.
  • Been coming to Door County, and Peninsula State Park, for nearly 30 years. The Park is one of my favorite places in the world. Beautiful scenery, quiet woods, great trails for walking, biking, and cross country skiing. Also, Nicholet Beach is really nice in the summer.
  • We came up from Texas to beat the July heat and boy are we happy with this cool weather!!! The state park is huge!!! Seems like a lot going on but that's ok. We are here just to camp, take in the sites and relax!!
