  • Very nice walk to the lighthouse in a series of boardwalks through the dunes. Climb the tower and get a view of the Manhattan skyline on a clear day. The museum upstairs is small but nice  more »

  • A balmy Sunday in February got us out to the lighthouse. Park at field 5 and walk the boardwalk to the lighthouse. Deer along the way. Great view from the top and an interesting free museum  more »

  • Great staff. Fun info center. Good gift shop. 7 bucks to get to hike to the top of the lighthouse.
  • The Guardian! Best lighthouse on Long Island loaded with wildlife and a friendly staff that offers guided tours!
  • Awesome place to visit.. Great views from the Lighthouse and spend some time on the beach..!
  • Great secluded location for some walking around along with a nice bit of seashore history. There is a 7$ self guided tour up to the top of the Fire Island Light house. They have a wealth of knowledge and piece's of the old light house along with other historic artifacs.
  • Cool place for a daytime getaway from the city. Park and walk through the brush filled dunes and climb up a janky staircase for a great view from the top.
