  • I went nuts in this Farm store! You can sample almost everything that Vermont has to offer. Cheeses, Meats, Sauces, Coffees, it was endless. We sampled it all I think and came out over $100 poorer!! I...  more »
  • Basically, this is just a store selling meats and cheeses. It seems strange to recommend visiting it but it's definitely worth a stop...and possibly a purchase. There are numerous samples for tasting ...  more »

  • I'm going to be honest. I expected much more from Dakin Farm. I liked the building and how they offered so many samples of different products. But even with that, giving it a high rating is impossible when two of their staple products were just not good. First, the maple syrup had little taste when compared to other farms in the area. Second, their maple creemee (soft serve) didn't taste at all like maple. I still think they mixed up vanilla and maple somewhere in the process. It was awful! There are many other places in the area worth visiting instead of this place.
  • Larry the Cable Guy visited this place for his show. They have a great selection of maple syrups, meats, and preserves. The folks are very nice. Recommended.
  • A bit pricey but very good quality food and products
  • The best assortment of homestyle Vermont stuff in the area. Some things are more local than others and they have a great selection of Cabot cheese!
  • Amazing Vermont specialties with the best bacon in the state. Stop in for free samples and try not to spend over $20 on cured meats, bet you can't!
