Wild Waves Theme & Water Park Reviews
Great light display with of course the theme rides with it and the laser light show is awesome....just bundle up because it got very cold more »
The place is really nice during the Halloween, they have 3 haunted houses, they are super cool, and actors are very good. We had so much fun, In addition to the regular rides which they were between a... more »
Lots of fun for the whole family and you can get discount tickets before you go and you can get season tickets too more »
Cute place to take the kids for a couple of hours of fun. Price was a little high for the Christmas lights, considering you can't stay out there very long because it's freezing. Park is very small and only a few big rides for the older kids and adults. All in all a nice place to visit. Definitely need a better variety of food and snacks.
Not as bad as reviews make it sound. It makes me wonder if we're thinking of the same place. Wild Waves is great fun for the whole family. There is a large variety of rides for all ages, from gentle bouncing kangaroos to the whirring, spinning Ring of Fire. I do agree that the bathrooms could be cleaner, and the food is quite pricey for the mediocre quality of it, but if you change, eat, and use the bathroom before you come you should be fine. Lines get long and entry prices are rather expensive, but if you come frequently then you should consider a Season Pass, which will save you money and allow you to skip hour-long entry lines. The lines for rides are usually worth it, and the rides themselves are tons of fun. We are Season Pass holders and come several times a year, because it's not that long of a drive and the whole family enjoys it. I would not recommend going for Fright Fest or any of the out-of-season activities unless you can go in the summer as well or prefer the dry rides, like the roller coasters and swinging pirate ship. If you can't come often and want your one trip to include the full experience of the water slides and pools as well, wait until summer. Overall, the staff are friendly and the rides are fun, so despite the theme park's flaws I refuse to give it anything less than five stars.
The lights were so pretty! Took my teen boys here last night. We had fun! Lines for rides were minimal. They have hot chocolate and snacks, but also coffee.
Need to add more booths for keeping people engaged, while the long walk to long lines for haunted houses. I seen many places to add more activities, spin a wheel, spooky maze, photo booth or cut out face photo boards. The list goes on & on. Losing money for years to come, keep old customers happy & get new ones along the years. Bad experience, long walk, hour & half line. I couldn't wait any longer, so I didn't get anything from the tickets I bought. Sad to see such an opportunity to really make a great park, wasted! Lack of imagination, care or money???
When this place is clean it's amazing. Unfortunately every time we have gone not all of their rides have been running depending on the time of day. The cleanliness of the bathrooms changes depending on the amount of people and how dedicated the teenage staff are to actually going in and cleaning things. Pool water used to be warm in some areas but I think I heater pump went out and it got really cold really fast but in the Northwest water is cold so comes with the territory. Their season passes or what makes this totally worthwhile I also recommend getting a season parking pass because at $20 a pop all you have to go is 3 times for it to pay for itself.
