  • A very nice exhibit of Bonsai. I think that October (for the maple‚Äôs leaves turning) and May-June (next door is the Rhododendron garden and they should be blooming then) would be the ideal times of year to visit, for full effect. Donation based fees, and a nice little gift store. About 1.5-2 miles of trails in the surrounding area. I highly recommend it!
  • You might think that walking around and looking at trees in the rain is not a fun time. You would be wrong. In full bloom in the spring this amazing collection of bonsai and the adjacent rhododendrons are spectacular. But on our last visit in November, walking through the Mists and drizzle, it was a beautiful peaceful experience. This is one of the most amazing collections in the world and always worth a visit.
  • Wonderful and informative visit to the bonsai museum! Loved walking around for viewing and it was so much fun reading about each tree's history and story. Can't wait to go back!
  • A must visit! Free, but you should definitely make a donation at the end. Parking is in a seperate lot and you walk along a cute path to the entrance. Cute but small gift shop. Unfortunately, i was with my two year old and her taste in entertainment does not involve these incredible plants. My visit was very enjoyable. I enjoyed the art exhibit that was going on.
  • This is a beautiful place to come and visit and see all of bonsai plants are beautiful. The atmosphere there is very peaceful. The entire grounds are just as beautiful and peaceful. I have never gotten tired of visiting just beautiful site in all the years living in Washington.
