  • Absolutely stunning! Even after doing some research, through Yelp/Tripadvisor, Green Lakes never showed up. So I only discovered this place when a local, who I was visiting, took me there. It's a Stat...  read more »
  • This park has two rare, meromictic lakes. Beautifully preserved by the State and not a miss ... we went with a 5 year old and an infant and took the two trails around both the lakes.
  • We play golf here all the time. This is a beautiful course and it's hard to believe it's public. It could easily be a private course. The newly remodeled club house and restaurant is much improved. We...  read more »
  • It was nice up until a park Ranger who was probly barely 18 years old! Was spying on us! Just trying to have a relaxing camping trip with my family. And this dumb kid Ranger taking his job way to seriously and harassing us. Racially profiling us. Things got heated and my brother got arrested! Thanks for ruining our trip park ranger boy! Hope you sleep good tonight! I will definitely not be coming back!
  • Pros: beach, trails, lakes, dog-friendliness Restrooms are clean and reasonable. Showers worked well and include a private changing area. Water spigots are convenient and work well. Camping areas were not buggy, at least during mid-August. Playgrounds are located close to campsites. Trails include posted informational boards. Cons: We were told the nature center was not in operation.
  • Camped here last weekend... The electric sites are 10000 times better than the nonelectric. But besides that, this is the most beautiful state park I've ever been too!!! The lake is breathtaking!! The beach is clean, the water is clean, the boat rentals are totally affordable, and it's very dog friendly. I can't wait to visit again!!
  • The park is very beautiful all year round. Like the name suggests, the lakes appear very green. There is a 2 mile trail that goes all around the lake which is flat and great for walking or jogging. There is a 9 hole disc golf course that is muddy when it's been raining and is not very well marked but nonetheless is fun to play. There is also a huge beach area and picnic area at the end of the lake which gets extremely crowded on hot weekend days...get there before 11 am if you need to use a picnic table.
  • The color of the lakes makes this place so unique. Perfect reflection of trees, especially in fall when leaves are turning yellow and redish, added the finish touch to this natural beauty. The trails around the lakes were great for casual walks as well as exercises. Definitely recommended for a getaway!
