  • We've been regular visitors to this great little museum for more than twenty years, when my son was in elementary school. It's a good place for school field trips, and I'd the only place in the area f...  more »

  • Rude, Like the other 2 post said! A total waste of time! It was advertised in paper as free today , also said free outside but she charges $10 a person. No explanation. Another very upset family on vacation was in the parking lot. They said this belongs to the city so nothing can be done. If these people are city employees then I don't think I would want to live in Fayetteville and deal with sort of attitude from their city emploees. A very bad imprsssion of Arkansas for traveler's from out of state. They should close this place before more harm is done to Arkansas's reputation as friendly and honest people.
  • This must be a recurring thing with the rude lady at the front desk as the other reviewer said. I grew up right in West fork and Greenland and I always remember the old woman being mean at the counter but since then I've moved away and was visiting with my girlfriend and we really enjoy museums together. It's expanded a ton since I was a young teen but the service provided by the woman was awful. She said she'd be closed in 30 minutes and I told her it was OK, I just wanted to walk through and we wouldn't take long. She sighed and said fine. The museum itself holds a ton of pieces from airplanes to weapons and uniforms but nothing that will astonish you. When we were about to leave we were looking around the gift shop and she interrupted us and asked how we heard about the museum and I told her I grew up there and just knew where it was. I drove past it nearly every day of my life. "but how'd you hear about it?" again, "I grew up here so I just know where it's at" so she just scoffs and walks away. I can't imagine that you place getting a lot of business except when an air show comes through. I'm sorry we went to your mediocre museum.
  • Great piece of aviation history right here in Fayetteville.
  • Great little piece of history just a few minutes from downtown Fayetteville
  • Cool place.
