  • Many thanks to Hunter for helping Ben and Sam get their Jr Ranger Badge and Patch. We didn't go for any walks, but we still had fun.  more »
  • We stopped to see the bridge...because it is featured on the reverse of the WV state quarter. The park is located right at the bridge....there is a boardwalk that you can take down to get a good view ...  more »
  • beautiful location for great family photos, be sure to get up early at least once during your stay to see the clouds/fog rolling off of the bridge at sunrise, very neat - many hiking trails.  more »

  • Amazing experience. Worried more about my phone than my own safety. very cool.
  • The bridge is the main attraction, a guided tour is available but besides that there are many options for hiking, rafting, fishing and sitting by the banks of the river. Plan a full day picnic to explore different aspects of the place
  • It's beautiful and looking over the bridge while it's foggy makes it even prettier.
  • Highest arch bridge in the western hemisphere. The view is awesome, but head 1/4 north of the bridge to the visitors' center to see good views of the structure itself. They have Bridge Day, here, every 3rd Saturday in October, where adrenaline fueled parachutists jump off the bridge and land safely in the gorge. It's a piece of Americana that should not be missed.
  • The bridge, the water, the road to the bottom on gorge, all unique.
