  • I simply love this state park. They have a dog camp ground and one that don't. The trails are amazing, to the theathers at night. I loved our family's trip up there, and would highly recommend you giv...  more »

  • Stayed in the group camping area. The potable water was not very close to the campsite. And had to go to another campsite for trash disposal. The creek running through the area and the access to trails was awesome. Pool wasn't too far away, but we didn't use it. Showers could be had for $4 a piece.
  • Camped for three nights at the Hosack Run Campground. We are tent campers and stayed at sight 165. Most of the tent sites are not very good. Would recommend site 165 or 169 if you are a tent camper. The electric sites on the interior of the loop are all pretty tight. The facilities are OK and the campground is scheduled for a renovation this fall. Nice hiking trails in Michaux State Forest. Also some nice mountain biking trails. I am giving this 5 stars because my site was great with nice privacy....If we had stayed at our original site #159...this review might well have been two stars as it was close to a noisy playground, far away from water and the tent sites were very sloped.
  • A good way to beat the heat and let the kids enjoy playing and using the pool slide was great. Not busy through the week and not expensive. No steps in so great for young old alike
  • Great park. Nice pool. Many picnic tables and grills. Very nice park to take the family.
  • Hosack Campgrpund was quiet and campsite were well taken care of. Shower house wasn't the best but also wasn't the worst. Beautiful hiking trails right in the campgrounds!
