Marvin's truly is Marvelous. It is down a weird "alley" between two shopping centers - look for the neon archway leading you down the path. From rare coin operated waltzers, monkeys, execuitionists, t... read more »
I took my niece here and it is great. They have video games, skee ball, pin ball.....just a neat place to check out.
My kids and I have gone here several times and find something "new" that we had not seen before, every time. We even met Marvin on one visit! There is something for everyone here....old games, new gam... read more »
I LOVE MARVINS! It is so interesting to see all the games. My husband took me here on our first date and we return every year to re-visit. Once we have children, I cannot wait to show them this magical place! I recommend Marvins Marvelous Mechanical Museum to everyone!
This hidden gem was a great stop on our recent family road trip to Michigan. The staff was friendly, the machine selection was varied, as was the decor. Lots to see and do! A very interesting destination and definitely worth a stop if you're going to be in the Detroit area!
We like this fun and unusual attraction. There is a ton of history in this place and a lot to see. It is pretty small inside so everything is crammed in tight but it is still a great time and very inexpensive. There are a variety of older video games, pinball machines, games of chance for tickets, robots and lots of penny arcade machines that you will not find anywhere else. We have been here for a birthday party - pizza was just ok - but the kids loved it and they have a seating area in the middle of the place to have the party. If you like arcades, I would highly recommend coming here no matter what your age.
You pays your money, you takes your chances. There's a good selection of mechanical amusements here (including an original Tim Hunkin or two, a big draw for me), but the maintenance is... spotty.
Really cool little arcade. A bit packed with things and the tickets and prizes are a bit stingy. Overall though, glad I drove across the state to visit.
