Lagoon Amusement Park features rides, carnival games, a water park, and Wild West adventure. The park is divided into five sections. The midway has carnival games, rides, and nine roller coaster rides, including a wooden roller coaster that has been running since 1921. Kiddie Land offers rides and games for younger children. • We usually go to lagoon once a year and this year it was during Frightmares for Halloween. So much fun and the new kiddie area is great!  more »

  • Lagoon is a great place to take the family for fun. It's the only local option, yet they still keep updating the park with newer and better rides. They have an entire section for younger children, so all of the children can enjoy the park. The corn on the cob is delicious here. If you're getting too hot, ride the Cliffhanger and that should drench you thoroughly. The Cannibal is the best ride of the park and the Wicked probably comes in second. If you really want to experience everything, you'll have to pay extra for the Sky Coaster and the Catapult. Both are worth it.
  • Good variety of things to do. It's basically an amusement park + small zoo (take train) + museum (pioneer town) + water park. The rides are great and the water park looked like a lot of fun, but I didn't take swimwear and I didn't want to buy theirs. Brought my 2 yr old and he had a good time in the kids area. The dragon ride in the kids area is a bit fast for a 2 yr old though... Some rides weren't running and 1 was broken, but not a big deal. Be there when it opens and expect a lot of people in the afternoon. I went on a work day and it was still pretty crowded...
  • Still as great as I remember it from 30 years ago. Tons of shade and places to relax and a great mix of intense rides. They have done an excellent job of getting good "medium" size rides for those with kids that are still not ready for the big rides. Very clean and welcoming. Definitely getting season passes next year.
  • We stood in Sofia's line for half an hour to buy tickets. All the other lines around kept moving. We figured out why her line was taking forever and it's because she was giving every single person a hard time. We finally got up to buy tickets and she tried to say that our eight year old, who was under the line, was above the line. Is Lagoon so desperate that they'll be dishonest and try to squeeze extra money out of families? Then she insisted on having our two-year-old stand next to the yellow line. Serious Lagoon? This is how you treat your patrons?
  • I haven't been to Lagoon in about 18 years. My recent trip was a pleasant surprise. The new rides were really quite exciting. Cannibal is really amazing ride. Wicked was another excellent addition. The old classics were still fun as well.
