Theme Park Water / Amusement Park
Lagoon Amusement Park features rides, carnival games, a water park, and Wild West adventure. The park is divided into five sections. The midway has carnival games, rides, and nine roller coaster rides, including a wooden roller coaster that has been running since 1921. Kiddie Land offers rides and games for younger children. Swim over to Lagoon-a-Beach, a water park with slides, hydro tubes, waterfalls, swimming, and fountains. Visit Pioneer Village for a taste of the Wild West, and find the X-venture Zone for rides that are a little more hair-raising. Rides in the X-venture Zone are not covered by the park entrance price. • With the oldest working wood roller coaster west of the Mississippi (l think that's still accurate), this place has been around for over 100 years. Great variety of rides and attractions. I've been go...  more »
  • Lagoon is our yearly vacation for our family. The park is clean and very well shaded. The crowd on Saturdays is a little much, but all the other days it is perfect.  more »

  • So family friendly with lots of trees for hot days. Several water rides too to cool you off. You can also bring your own food. Overall: a great inexpensive experience. (Two negatives: The employees need to be fully trained before put on duty and rides should be checked before the park opens.)
  • I Love Lagoon!! Fun for all ages, big rides little ones to. One of the best things about it is Pioneer Village, if you can take the time to explore it. They have some great collections from money, guns, furniture, toy trains, medical equipment, dolls and much more. During October they change up the park for Halloween it is the best time to visit Lagoon.
  • It's a great time. There are rides for all ages and levels of adventurousness. You can bring in you own food and beverages which you can't do at most amusement parks. If you decide to buy food in the park you can get a pretty good variety of meals for around $10.
  • It is a fun place to go for a day. It's getting more expensive but they are getting better rides. I would have given it a 5 if there were so many rides out of order. I had 4 rides break down while I was standing in line, at least other amusement parks give you something for when that happens. But hey, they all can't be Disneyland!
  • I love working here! I love seeing everyone have fun with their families and getting to meet people from all over. Some might think that we are over priced, but that is due to building new and great rides, taxes on food and other merchandise going up, and so on. Yeah there are going to be rides that need some maintenance, but it's to be expected for everyone's safety. We take pride in our work at Lagoon and really hope that you all can spend quality time with others at the park!
