Three Rivers Eatery & Brewhouse Reviews
Recently ordered prime rib for dinner - the quality, the taste of the beef was all right, not great. What was very interesting was the prime rib had been smoked! It took me several bites, but in the e... more »

Didn't want to drive clear across town besides it was getting late so we ate here and ordered pizza. The Albuquerque Pizza we ordered was way too spicy. And we got in calzones and they were burnt and ... more »
Pros: 1) Service was pretty good in the eatery from our waiter. 2) The location is easy to get to since it's downtown and so is parking. That's a huge plus for elderly and families. Cons: 1) The food is over priced for what you receive. $16 for burger isn't bad if the burger is top notch, organic, 2) After eating at the eatery, we were sitting on the bench outside the lounge area and the host came out and kicked us off the bench saying we could only sit there if we were customers. Who in the organization come up with that weird policy? Overall: I would likely not return. I understand it is the only brewery/eatery in the town so they have a monopoly on this market. It feels like the locals are getting the short end of the stick with this place.
I loved this place until I walked in and they turned me away because they "just closed", but the door was wide open and there were at least 15 people already in the restaurant. Horrible business acumen. No way to treat someone that frequents this restaurant every single time so come to town.
Meh, the food was OK, but not good. We had a burger, grilled veggies, and artichoke dip. The burger was small for the $9 price tag and the flavor didn't blow me away. The artichoke dip was good, but the chips were hard/stale. Then after we ate, we were sitting on the bench outside the lounge area and the host came out and kicked us off the bench saying we could only sit there if we were customers. There were no signs indicating it was for diners-only. The whole experience was meh. I wouldn't recommend eating here. The price just doesn't match the quality.
Visiting from out of state and have to say that this place was amazing. The garlic rosemary fries are a must as an appetizer for garlic lovers. The Cubano sandwich with onion rings and smoked chicken were tasty. Get the green chili sauce for dipping if you like a little heat. The Amber Ale was perfect. It had a smooth malty taste and the home made root beer was nice and creamy. This place is very kid friendly, as it gas a little indoor play area for the kiddies. The service was also outstanding. Sarah took really good care of us.
Let me begin by saying I like the idea of this place. Building #1 is a restaurant/brewhouse, building #2 is a pizzaria, building #3 is a very new distillery/speakeasy, and building #4 is a tap/game room. My wish is that everyone would review these four enterprises individually so that the owners could see where they're failing and where they have successes. That being said, I am reviewing the Three Rivers Brewery and Restraunt, building #1. As many other reviews have stated prior to this one, the owner (John) and managers do NOT care one bit about their customers. They appear to think they have a private club and if you don't suit their mold they certainly won't aim to please their customers. I guess as long as they're making money, who cares, right? My daughters and I dined there yesterday, May 13, 2017, at about 5:00 for an early dinner. We had steak, burger, and salad ($18-hugely overpriced salad) and it was all pretty good but very pricey. I'm not here to talk prices though; plenty of others have already done so. Our meal was $83 with tip for 3 people. Our service was good, and I really like the atmosphere. BUT, the piped-in Xfinity music station, some kind of soft-rock, pop drivel, was playing. It took away my dining pleasure. I politely asked the bartender to change the music. He responded "well, lucky for you the song is almost over" and did not change the station. There was only one other patron in the resteraunt so it wasn't like it would upset 100 people to change the station. I went back to my table and complained to my waitress. She explained that there had been quite a few complaints about the music but the owners wouldn't ever change it. I filled out a customer suggestion card at the table explaining that they should make a better effort to accommodate their guests and walked the card up to the bar (where there were now 5 owners/managers standing there) and handed them the card. They again wouldn't change the station. I went back to my table and paid my $73 + tip ticket. On the receipt I wrote a note and said that the restaurant should be more accommodating to their guests and that I would not be coming back due to their not caring for their customers. By this time, a man named John who I knew to be one of the owners, was sitting at the bar. I walked over to him and handed him my note then walked back to my table. As I was walking back, he very rudely yelled across the resteraunt "Good bye and don't come back!" I had just stated I wouldn't be - a little redundant, don't you think?
