  • Nice wooded trails with plenty of wildlife and beautiful scenery. Travel a half mile in and you are surrounded by the woods with no houses, roads or city in sight. In the winter there is a nice sledding hill that is larger than most around the area, but still appropriate for smaller children. Playground and mini water park with spray guns and dump bucket are all free and well kept. Shelters in or out of the woods for get togethers are nice and well kept. Outdoor amphitheater for music events. Friendly rangers. Overall great place to spend some time.
  • Took the kiddos to the splash pad for dome last minute fun. The park is beautiful with tons of things to do but we only visited the splash pad. The pad is surrounded by grassy areas so there are lots of places to set up a chair & watch the munchkins & there's a small park close by that you can view from the splash pad area as well. The cute little snack bar has decent prices, the bathrooms were open and clean. There was a large pavilion for picnics and to offer shade. This was adorable but my children, Ages 6 & 8, seemed to loose interest. They played for about 30 minutes, ate lunch, played at the park a while then played in the water a bit longer. We were there for about an hour and a haIf. It wasn't terribly busy either. Nice little gem.
  • Let's see been coming here since I was 12 now 34 and as a photographer every time its that much more peaceful and breathtaking a favorite place to get away from everyday stress and outside world a nice peaceful and serene atmosphere year round!
  • A gem in the middle of Farmington Hills, great walking trails, lots of wildlife, a wonderful nature center. You feel like you've escaped the suburbs!
  • Doesn't allow dogs. Really? I take my dog to parks every day with no problem. Park ranger was extremely rude to me and my dog. Will not return
