  • We love coming here. The vibe is very mellow and a short car ride away. It great how that have contracted with local business to be the food vendors. A real step of from he usual frozen hamburgers and...  read more »
  • Great food, great vibe. The crowd is very mixed, and there is great public transportation, and a large parking lot that never fills up!
  • The part of the Riis park beach that I went to has so much flies. Probably we were near the water and sand area. Those flies bit me many times and it hurts. When I try to go to the ocean water, there ...  read more »
  • WARNING: INFESTED WITH SAND FLIES THAT BITE. The beach is a much better option then any other beach in NY when it comes to cleanliness and not being over crowded. HOWEVER I wasn't too warn you that it is infested with flies that bite, I think they're sand flies. No insect repellent works on them and trust me they are relentless. I'm not going back to this beach until the infestation is dealt with. It's a real shame because the beach is really nice especially at sunset.
  • I've been to alot of beaches in NYC but this beach is by far one of the best! The parking area is not to far from the water. There is also a big park for the kids! I have a 4 year old and he loved it! I highly recommend this beach!
  • Way Cleaner and less crowded than coney brighten and Manhattan Beach. Much closers than any long Island beaches and u can bbq. Love this place. Biggest parking lot in the east coast lol......need more bbq space and trees for sun cover
  • Best beach within a short drive from Bayridge. If you figure out by noon that it's shaping up to be a beautiful day in Brooklyn this is the place to go. Now with the bazaar you have good food and some music too.
  • Awesome Brunch Food...We also enjoyed the pesto basil panini!!! Highly recommend this place.
