  • Thirty women traveled to Pala Mesa for a 2 day golf event. The rooms apparently varied in terms of how well kept they were. My room was fine. It wasn't a refurbished room, but it was good enough. Ever...  more »
  • We went to Pala Mesa Resort for a couples retreat. I was disappointed. Everything is old. Furniture, decorations and even the smell of the room. It smelled moldy. The beds were uncomfortable. For a co...  more »
  • I reviewed this location a year ago and things have gotten worse. Our room had ants, the cracks on the sink vanity were over a quarter inch wide in places, the exterior had severe wood rot and termite...  more »
  • A golf day today and the course was well-kept I would rate it a seven and a half out of 10 the course was fairly easy and enjoyed golfing with the company a tad staff was friendly and helpful when we needed them for the most part the corsairs easy to maintain for ourselves a corporator with iron and the hot dogs were delicious
  • Food at AquaTerra is fabulous. Live music on weekends, championship golf course. People say the rooms are outdated, I say they are past outdated...they are now really cool RETRO. They aren't your typical cookie cutter rooms...nice large rooms (400 sq feet and up) and a lot have patios. Real tranquil, laid back atmosphere. Perfect for a destination stay or a local staycation. And of course the boutique Bello Vita Spa with the world class massage and skincare services really puts this place on the map.
  • The grounds are nice but it ends there. This was nice back in the 50s I'm sure but very outdated and rooms smells like mold. Dinner was decent and prices only a little high but drinks were outrageous as we found. $20 for a double crowne and Coke. Really? The view was great but bring your own cocktails!! Holy crap.
  • Great rate. Friendly staff. Delicious breakfast. The rooms are ready for updating though.
  • My brother's wedding was held here... And from what I experienced the venue was nice enough. It was clean, the ceremony and reception areas were conveniently located. The food wasn't anything to write home about, but few weddings I've attended have had exceptional food. Now, one would think that for the price you pay piece of mind would be included. Unfortunately, it wasn't. The wedding planner was terrible and unavailable. The lack of organization and communication was astounding! If this was the first time they had ever hosted a wedding... Maybe, it would have been excusable. But really, I think it was just incompetence.
